ELSPETH PRESENTING FAITH ALIVE ON SUNDAY BETWEEN MIDDAY UNTIL 2PM. A children's librarian and writer, Elspeth edged into local radio until she was full time free -lance at Radio Leicester where she enjoyed her annual interview with Sir Cliff ! Headhunted for her voice by Nottingham's Trent FM, her disasters there included being more-or-less drummed out of Buckingham Palace after annoying HRH the Duke of Edinburgh while interviewing him. High moments included writing Dale Winton into one of her children's radio dramas. Her varied local radio life included news reading, reporting, producing and presenting a Christian programme, and creating a children's half hour called Conkers ! Other colourful careers have woven their way into her life, like leading pre-school music groups of up to 500 chlldren per week; painting in water colours and oils on commission; teaching piano and all that goes with being a wife and mum. She loves life and loves God and is now thrilled to revive her radio skills in St.Albans, gathering ideas as she tackles the weeds in her large garden.

Enjoy the company of Warren and his fine collection of jazz tunes. “My main music influence was Willis Conover’s of Voice of America Music USA which broadcast in the mid 60’s; what a fantastic guy he knew everything about jazz at that time. In the early 70,s I began some broadcasting in the Big Band and Main Stream Jazz genre. In the mid 70’s I was introduced to modern jazz big band and small combos. One of the great gigs was at the Royal festival Hall, the main bill was the Gill Evans Orchestra supported by the Stan Tracy Sextet. Always off to find as much music as I can listen too by the early 90's I found smooth cool bay Jazz. I now have a very large Jazz track collection approaching some 300,000 tracks. Now looking at Louisiana swamp music which I do play on the show.” Warren also presents the "Jazz & Funk Mix Lounge" on Friday from 7pm - 8pm Playing Funky Modern/Mainstream Jazz, Latin Jazz, Blues, R & B, Soul, Fussion & Smooth Cool Bay. Along with his regular morning shows, he is our Station Manager looking after programmes and the day to day running of the station along with Clive Glover. Phil has a well established career in the industry, he spent many years working for the BBC and Three Counties Radio. Phil also presented on Radio Harmony, Mercury FM and Oasis Radio. Shows included ‘The Beat’ and ‘Focus’. Phil also presents the weekend early shows from 8am. Phil is a Director and is also Head of Sales. Great Britain's rock-famished listeners tuned in to Radio Caroline, where Emperor Rosko was the "highly rated, often imitated, but rarely duplicated mayor of mayhem." "We liberated England", says the former "toe-tapping, hand-clapping, lean, mean record machine" now living a quieter existence Stateside at his ranch in Calabasas, a semi-rural area north of Los Angeles. There, Emperor Rosko is known by his given name, Michael Pasternak. Beginning at Radio Caroline and going on to Radio One, Emperor Rosko was the toast of Swinging London. He was also the first in Europe to take records on the road with lighting and invented the mobile DJ business.

Whilst Danny is new to radio he has been DJing for over 15 years, starting out in nightclubs in his home town of Plymouth and progressing to universities, festivals, bars and clubs throughout the UK. He has worked with some big names, contributing to the radio shows of Jonathan Ross, Steve Wright and recently appearing at a university graduation ball with Radio 1's "Chappers & Dave". He can also be seen DJing at various bars around St Albans and at many private functions. When he is not DJing, Danny runs a local Boys' Brigade group working with children and young people aged 5 - 18. Aside from music, Danny's interests include yoga, keep fit, running, fine art, rare Cornish poetry and making up lies for biographies!
