As usual, the Radio Verulam team has been out and about around the area throughout the year taking part in local festivals and fairs, and reporting on local music, theatre and other events.
We had a great time at the Harpenden Carnival, Radlett Village Fayre,the Shenley Fete, the Harpenden Highland Gathering and the St Albans Festival. Thanks to everyone who came over to say hello - great to know you are listening! Do keep tuned in for a run down of all your local events throughout the year.

THE WISDOM OF TREES

THE HERTFORDSHIRE HERB GROUP presents "THE WISDOM OF TREES" - a journey into the medicinal, mythical and magical properties of trees with Herbalist Mary Barton. Wednesday 7 January at 8.00pm in St Bonaventure’s Church Hall, 83 Parkway, Welwyn Garden City. Entry £2.00. The HHG meets on the first Wednesday of each month.

Lunchtime Concert at St Mary's, Hemel Hempstead

One of our regular lunchtime concerts at 12.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month. Concert given by Christopher Thompson (organ) in a programme of THEATRE ORGAN music. Bring your lunch, to eat during or after the concert. Suggested donation £3. British Thyroid FoundationConcert

There will be a concert in aid of The British Thyroid Foundation on Sunday 18 January at 3pm in St Stephens Church, St Albans. It will be given by Isabel Beyer & Harvey Dagul with special guest, Guy Dagul - Two, Four and Six Hands at One Piano! Admission is by programme at £12.50 (including refreshments) obtainable from Ms EM Barber 01727 - 851 900 or at St Albans Music Centre, 20 Holywell Hill. Some tickets may still be available on the door.
